Gingerbread Houses

I helped volunteer in Isaiah's classroom the day they made gingerbread houses. It was a lot of fun to see how kids decorated their houses. I don't know if you can tell very well from this picture, but these two girls covered every tiny spot with candy and sprinkles. When they were finished the one plate was even full to the edge with sprinkles. The houses were made of two milk cartons taped together. They stayed together really well(each kid had their own container of frosting). We didn't bring it home until after the Christmas program,a week later. The kids ate every last piece of candy, stale or not.

Isaiah's finished masterpiece! He did a great job.

This brings back memories. Tell Isaiah I think he'd make a great architect-- especially fir the witch in Hansel and Gretel!
